This site collects as little as it can. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no advertising. Analytics runs only if you agree to it, and you can withdraw at any time.

The site is served by Firebase Hosting, which is operated by Google. Like any web server it records a request log: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent string. This is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure, so it happens for every visitor. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are held by Google as our processor and are not used to build a profile of you.
Nothing else is collected unless you accept analytics. No cookie is written, and no analytics code is loaded, before you choose.
If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 through Firebase. It records which pages you view, roughly where you are (derived from your IP address, which Google truncates before storing), and basic device and browser information. It uses a random identifier held in a cookie, not your name or email, and this site never sends Google any information that identifies you personally. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The purpose is ordinary and limited: to count visits and see which pages get read. Retention is set to 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data.

Declining, or withdrawing later, deletes the analytics cookies from your browser and stops anything further being recorded. Use to change your choice.
Google may process this data outside the EU, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU to US Data Privacy Framework and also relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. No data is sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond Google acting as our processor.
Links out to jetlaga.com lead to a separate site with its own privacy policy. This policy covers only hojtech.com.
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask that its use be restricted. You can withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything already recorded. Write to support@hojtech.com and you will get an answer within a month.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
